"Review of Pizzeria al taglio Ganza - Mai Abbastanza, Florence If you’re wandering through Florence and craving a quick, satisfying pizza stop, Pizzeria al taglio Ganza - Mai Abbastanza is a little hidden gem worth seeking out. Tucked away off the main tourist paths, this place captures the spirit of an authentic Italian pizzeria—simple, welcoming, and all about the food. The first thing that stands out is the warm reception from the staff. There’s a genuine friendliness here, not forced or rushed, which makes the experience feel personal. Whether you’re grabbing a slice to go or staying for a quick bite, you’ll be met with a smile and an eagerness to help. The star of the show is undoubtedly their Margherita pizza, priced at just €2—an absolute steal considering the quality. The base is light yet firm, with that perfect balance of crispness and chewiness that only comes from dough made with care. The tomato sauce has a rich, authentic flavor—fresh, slightly tangy, and not overly seasoned—while the mozzarella brings a creamy finish that ties it all together. One of the small but thoughtful touches is how they’ll wrap the pizza for you, making it easy to enjoy on the go. This is especially handy if you’re strolling through Florence’s charming streets while eating. For those looking for something more substantial, they also offer pizza boxes for takeaway, making it ideal for sharing with friends or taking back to your accommodation. Everything is served hot and fresh, ensuring you get that straight-out-of-the-oven taste every time. The portion sizes are generous enough to satisfy a quick craving but light enough that you won’t feel weighed down—perfect for travelers on the move. The vibe of the place is relaxed and unfussy—exactly what you’d hope for in a neighborhood pizza spot. It’s not flashy or tourist-oriented, and that’s what makes it so appealing. Here, the focus is firmly on quality, value, and authenticity. In short: If you need a quick, affordable, and delicious pizza fix in Florence, Pizzeria al taglio Ganza - Mai Abbastanza should be at the top of your list. Between the welcoming service, unbeatable prices, and reliably excellent pizza, it’s one of those small spots that leaves a big impression."
"Pizzeria Ganza what a surprise. The concept is brilliant with mini pizzas that let you try more than one without committing to a full pie. They even fold the pizza into a sandwich if you want something easy to enjoy on the go. We had the mushroom and cheese and the tomato burrata basil pizza both packed with flavor. The dough was delicious light yet satisfying and clearly made with care. The man behind the counter was incredibly helpful guiding us through the options and making the whole experience even better. A must try in Florence a unique concept that still feels beautifully traditional."
"Perfect spot for a delicious lunch while exploring Florence! Such variety and flavor in every choice. We got a selection and they all were quick to be served and perfect to have three, outside in the sun or as takeaway"
"Awesome lunch place, great pirces and delicious pizza. With the pizzas being small (personal) you can try different kinds. We got potato and sausage, cheese and Salami and potato cheese and olives. We also got the Aranachini. The place has a with few tables inside, so you can eat or take away. If you need something quick and tasty to eat, this is the place. It's ready to go. This is next to 2 busy sandwich shops that had ridiculous lines ( and a little overrated). I recommend skipping those long lines and get Pizza from here. You won't regret it"
"Cute spot. Tiny little 6” pizzas for a very good price. Prices are reasonable for being so central to the Florence center. Fun staff who are attentive. You order and eat tiny slices."
"Loved this place! A tiny shop that could be missed on the busy Florence street, but make sure you visit here for a quick bite. We had freshly baked yummy pizza slices of various toppings and loved it. The staff is super friendly and kind. Will def visit again."
"What a great find! A bunch of small Pizzettes in a large variety of flavors and combinations available. The staff is excellent and very helpful if you have specific requests. Honestly, my favorite pizza place in all of Florence"
"I wanted to eat something quick, so I order a pizzeta here. I got crudo e burrata (tomato, burrata, prosciutto crudo, basil and olive oil). I found it a bit greasy, but it was good, specially considering the price. I wouldn’t mind repeating and trying a different flavour."
